UNICAL Connect: For Students

Students are required to create an Intelligent Digital ID (IDID) profile to be able to use IDID-related services.

For a complete IDID profile, a student must:

  1. Register
  2. Do a biometric portrait capture
  3. Do a biometric fingerprint capture (at least two fingers)

Registration

Students are currently not allowed to register themselves. As a student, you must contact an IDID Agent on campus and then provide your bio-data/credentials to him for profiling. After the IDID Agent has created your profile, you will receive a notification that contains your newly assigned IDID Reference via WhatsApp.

Please note that a notification is sent to the phone number used for your registration only if it has been activated for WhatsApp. Otherwise, ensure you ask and write your assigned IDID Reference from the IDID Agent after registration.

Biometric Capture

After registration, you are required to present your IDID Reference to an IDID Agent for an Image and Fingerprint capture. Please make sure you present a correct Reference, so you will be able to complete this process.
